I’m very happy with this gadget. I find the usual arm cuff very painful, especially the ones on the electronically-controlled sphygmomanometers, and of course that sends my blood pressure momentarily through the roof, so the wrist cuff gives a much more accurate (and less alarming) reading.

After many years of having high blood pressure, and experiencing pain and distress every time it was read, daily, by the pressure of the arm cuff, I changed to the wrist electronic B.P. monitor.
Immediately, I was able to tolerate having my B.P. read, no pain no distress, and therefore no increase in B.P. reading.

Living with Fibromyalgia meant measuring my BP with regular upper arm sphygmomanometer was very painful and I rarely took it despite my Doctor's insistence. I saw a wrist sphygmo on a movie actually and began my search and was very excited to find this online. It was affordable and arrived quickly and best of all it's easy to use and doesn't cause pain, woohoo! My Dr said it should be as accurate as the upper arm one if used properly and to make sure I recommend you do a same time comparison with the upper arm one and wrist one at your Doc's. It's great I recommend it.

I was on Beta blockers and blood pressure tablets until i thought it was the anti depressant that maybe was causing it. So i took myself off the tablets and monitored myself regularly and found i did not need either of the tablets just the anti depressant which i reduced. I love this unit, compact and so easy to use. Recommend this to everyone to keep on at home. Thank you

An excellent unit. When tested against the normal large unit it's always within 1 or 2 percent. It's light, and lasts quite well on a charge.
My only criticism is the voice function. There should be a way to turn it off permanently, as it automatically comes back on when you start the machine. It wastes way too much time in normal use. It should have a toggle off option.
